How to create a Coupon

Indie Courses offers you coupons with all features that you would expect. You can:

• create percentage coupons (e.g. 20% off) and fixed amount coupons (e.g. $10 off)
• limit how often a coupon can be redeemed
• set an expiration date and time for a coupon
• create one coupon for multiple courses

Create a coupon

1. First click on Coupons in the Navigation.
2. Click New Coupon to create a new coupon

1. Enter a Name, Code, Percent off or Amount off.
2. Optionally set an expiration date for the coupon.
   • If you don’t set this date, the coupon will remain valid indefinitely.
   • Note that the coupon will become active right away. If you don’t want that, you can disable the Enable Coupon checkbox below and activate the coupon at a later time.
3. Optionally limit the times the coupon can be redeemed.
   • If you don’t set this limit, the coupon can be redeemed indefinitely.
4. Select for which courses the coupon should be valid.
5. Press Save coupon and you are done!

You can copy a link to your course where the link is pre-filled from the Links with pre-filled coupon column.

Edit a coupon

You can edit only the Name, Code, active state, and the courses for which it is valid after you have created a coupon. If you want to change the percentage or amount off, the expiration date, or the redemption limit, you have to create a new coupon. You can always delete the coupon and create a new one with the same code though.
