We here at Indie Courses are super excited to share something we’ve been working on: the Indie Video Course Directory. This isn’t just another directory; it’s a solution to a problem many indie creators face – getting their amazing courses noticed outside their own circles.

Great. But why would you do this?

We know that reaching customers outside of your network is tough for you independent creators. You pour your heart into creating a video course, launch it in your network, and get your first sales. Exciting! But then sales peter out (Yes, the author of this article is aware of this very funny wordplay. There’s no need to mention it to him, again)

So, where do you go next? How can you reach an audience outside of your own bubble and keep new sales coming in? That’s where the Indie Video Course Directory comes in!

Glad you asked! The directory allows indie creators to list their courses to get them in front of a wider audience. This is your chance to step outside your usual circle. Show your work to people who are genuinely interested in learning something new.

On the other side, learners can search the directory for courses that explain a topic they want to know more about. This is their treasure trove of unique, hidden-gem indie courses that you won’t find in mainstream places.

It’s just a scheme to make money, right?

Nope, it’s free. We’re not here to push sales or bombard you with ads. Our goal is to bring together indie creators and eager learners. Just submit your video course and we’ll add it to the directory. We don’t take a service fee or anything. If a learner clicks on your video course, they get redirected to your website (if you have a website. If not, maybe consider hosting your video course with us 😉)

I mean, you could sign up for our newsletter which would make us very happy, but we won’t guilt trip you into doing that although it’s very close to Christmas and isn’t it the time of giving (your email address) 🎄?
